Aquest Pla compta amb un pressupost de 646 milions d’euros fins al 2012 i inclou actuacions específiques en àmbits com la sostenibilitat, les polítiques d’igualtat, la conciliació, la innovació, la cooperació empresarial, la qualificació de les persones i el foment de la cultura de l’esforç, entre d’altres. Potser hauríen de comparar-se amb el projecte Leader de la Garrotxa. When Blangladeshi economist Muhammad Yunus surveyed a poor village in the mid-70s and found that all the money borrowed totaled just $27, he set out to create a new kind of bank, one that would give small loans to the poorest persons, particularly women, without collateral.&lt;br /&gt;With just a few dollars, the poor would become entrepreneurs and pull themselves out of poverty, taking Bangladesh along with them. Today the grandfather of microcredit presides over an improbably profitable banking enterprise that is far along in meeting those lofty goals.&lt;br /&gt;His Grameen Bank have 6.5 million borrowers now, 97% women, all in Bangladesh. Annually, they lend out about $800 million in loans averaging $130. All the money comes from deposits and internal resources, and 67$ of deposits comes from the borrowers themselves. Some people says that the chlorine technology that will be used in the bleaching processes will result in toxic effluent and noxious gases. Those, they fear, will pollute the river and contaminate the atmosphere, not to mention the local tourism industry.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Courier New;"&gt;Spanish timber giant &lt;strong&gt;Ence&lt;/strong&gt; and Finland's Botnia, the two companies behind the mills, insist such fears are groundless. Both says the plants will meet european standards, as well as those of environmental regulators in Uruguay.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Courier New;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Ence&lt;/strong&gt; and Botnia are both looking to international debt markets to help fund the mills, wich are expected to cost about $600 million and $1,2 billion respectively. After sustained public pressure, dutch bank &lt;strong&gt;ING, &lt;/strong&gt;that help finance Botnia mill, announced in April that it would not continue in its advisory role for Botnia.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Courier New;"&gt;ING's backtracking has inspired environmental groups to target spanish bank &lt;strong&gt;BBVA&lt;/strong&gt; and french bank Calyon&lt;strong&gt;. &lt;/strong&gt;Both are members of the Equator Principles and they say that while they haven't yet decided whether to help finance the mills, their decision will depend largely on the results of an environmental-impact assessment by the International Finance Corp., the private-sector lending arm of the World Bank. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Courier New;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Courier New;"&gt;By singing the Equator Principles, banks are drawing a line about who they are, as well as making it clear to clients what they need to do to get their money.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Courier New;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Courier New;"&gt;Ultimately, banks are in the business of managing risk, and environmental disasters are risky affairs. En el pasado mes de julio entraban en vigor los nuevos Principios de Equador.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;"&gt;Hasta el momento, éstos se circunscribían a proyectos con una inversión superior a los 50 millones de dólares, un umbral que a partir de ahora se rebaja a los 10 millones.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;"&gt;Los bancos adheridos se compromenten a aplicar los Principios mediante un seguimiento de los proyectos financiados según los criterios resultantes de una evaluación ambiental y social. Pero el fin no justifica los medios. La RSE significa la integración en la empresa (mediante códigos, instrucciones, formación, ...) de los valores éticos y morales que rigen el comportamiento de qualquier persona, se trata de hacer "lo correcto" en el ámbito económico, ambiental i social. Muchas PYMES de menor tamaño hace tiempo que aplican la RSE ya que el carácter y valores del emprendedor o emprendedora que gobierna la empresa impregnan las acciones de la organización. Si quién la dirige es "buena gente", la empresa también lo será.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;GRI:&lt;/strong&gt; acrónimo de &lt;em&gt;Global Reporting Initiative&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Global Reporting Initiative (GRI):&lt;/strong&gt; el GRI fue constituido en 1997 como una iniciativa conjunta de la organización no gubernamental estadounidense CERES (Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies) y el PNUMA (Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente), con el objetivo de fomentar la calidad, el rigor y la utilidad de las memorias de sostenibilidad. La presentación oficial tendrá lugar en Amsterdam, entre los días 4 y 6 de octubre de 2006.&lt;br /&gt;   Las principales novedades de la 'G3' radican en la disminución de las directrices --ambientales, laborales, sociales, de Derechos Humanos y de producción responsable-- con el objetivo de que sea más sencilla. De este modo, las directrices principales de 2002 pasan de ser 50 a 47 y las adicionales se reducen de 47 a 32, dando un total de 79 en lugar de las 97 anteriores.&lt;br /&gt;   Entre los nuevos cambios también hay que mencionar su formato, que para esta nueva generación será digital y en soporte CD, además de mantenerse el tradicional en papel.
